Mick has worked at the practice since 1994. He has an interest in making patient care more accessible  and deliverable by the whole team in an often confusing and changing environment for patients. Married to Moira with 4 grown children, he also enjoys running and other outdoor activities. He aims to continue to work with a highly professional, knowledgeable and welcoming team of professionals at Sealy St for a long time to come.

Dr Lewis Jones ...

BMBS, MRCGP

Dr Lewis Jones has joined our team and will be with us until February 2020.  Lewis trained in the UK and has worked at practices in Devon, England, before coming out to New Zealand to work in Darfield. He has a special interest in the areas of paediatrics, orthopaedics and ENT.  We are delighted to welcome Lewis and his young family to Ashburton.

 

Dr Mohammad Abudalu ...

MBChB

Dr Mohammad Abudalu has shifted to Ashburton from Israel where he had been working in Emergency Services and Family Medicine. Mohammad is enthusiastic about focusing on General Practice and providing excellent services in the primary health setting. Mohammad is embracing the outdoor pursuits that Mid-Canterbury has to offer including horse riding, skiing and tramping.

 

 

 

Dr Theon Rogers ...

We are delighted to welcome Dr Theon Rogers to our team.  Theon also trained in the UK before shifting to New Zealand and enjoys the variety of general practice and working within the general practice team. He is enjoying the outdoor activities that Canterbury provides!

Tony Dann

Business Manager

Tony has joined the practice as the Business Manager. Tony will be leading the project to shift across to our new building as well as pursuing ongoing development projects for the practice. Tony has worked in operations and project management roles for an injury rehabilitation centre in Christchurch and for health research institutes in Melbourne.

Kaye Kennedy

Practice Manager

Kaye's history with the practice starts back in 1998 when she worked part-time as a typist and administrator.  Over the ensuing years her job has grown to that of Practice Manager, a challenging role with the ever changing health environment.  Highlights of her role are working with a fantastic team, all driven to provide a high quality of service to patients.

Weekend and public holiday clinics are shared around all Ashburton doctors.

For health advice after hours, including weekends and public holidays, phone (03) 3081212. You will be diverted to the after-hours nurse who will assess your need and either offer advice or connect you to the duty doctor.
